Flaxboard is by nature voluminous and light, exceptionally stable, sound reducing, heat insulating and fire retarding, the ideal base material for doors, walls and furniture.

Flaxboard is a special product and it has to be used in function of this characteristics.
Principally, flaxboard is a low weight material, rigid, thick, easy to handle, giving fire retardancy and noise reduction to the materials made with flaxboard.
The surface of flaxboard is now suitable for overlay with modern thin overlays. It is also an ideal surface to be covered with thicker overlays like thin MDF, plywood, chipboard, thick laminates etc., with other words, all materials used in modern door and partitioning productions.

By using flaxboard as core material in doors, customers can produce imitation solid doors in a flexible and economic way. By laying down a simple piece of flaxboard in the doorframe, the door is upgraded at a very low price, and allows the producer to realise more added value.

The combination of the Conti-Roll press and the Schelling sawing equipment enables the board to be delivered in all sizes.
